Entry requirements

Education

• No minimum education requirements

• Must pass a Language Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment to exit level 3 in the Australian Core Skills Framework

English Language

• All students must have generally effective command of the English language.

• International students - Academic IELTS of 6.0 or greater

Experience

• No prior flying experience required

ASIC

• An Aviation Security Identification Card is required

• The ASIC check involves a background check from AusCheck.

Medical

• A Class 1 aviation medical is required

• You must be at least 17 to start this course

Practical Flight Training

The flying portion of our course is designed to provide hands-on training in a range of aircraft, including high-performance singleengine aircraft and cutting-edge flight simulators. Students will gain proficiency in fundamental flight manoeuvres such as take-off, landing, navigation, and emergency procedures.

As the course progresses, students will delve into more advanced techniques, including instrument flying and flight planning. Our experienced flight instructors provide personalised instruction, offering feedback and guidance to help students continually progress and enhance their flying skills.

Comprehensive Theoretical Education

The theory segment of our course covers essential subjects such as aerodynamics, navigation, aircraft general knowledge, and weather. Students also delve into crucial areas like regulations, safety procedures, aviation law, and human factors such as crew resource management and decision-making.

This comprehensive theoretical curriculum establishes a solid foundation of knowledge to complement students’ flying skills, ensuring they can operate safely and effectively in the complex aviation industry.

Rigorous Assessments

Throughout the course, students are required to successfully complete a series of rigorous exams, both written and practical. These assessments assess their understanding of the material and ability to fly with skill and safety.

Upon passing in these exams, students will earn their commercial pilot license and Diploma of Aviation, unlocking exciting career prospects as professional pilots.
