What is ROTARACT ? Rotaract Is a service club for young men and women ages 18 to 30 who are dedicated to community and international service. Its membership totals over 184,000 in more than 8,000 clubs worldwide Rotaract clubs are self-governing and self-supporting and can be either university or communitybased.
About the Bulletin Adwitiya, a monthly bulletin by Rotaract Club of Dharmanagar, a community based club of RID 3240. RID 3240 comprises of 8 north eastern states of India and the north part of West Bengal. This Bulletin is holding our projects in the month of August 2020 with their project details. It also contains messages of our well-wishers and supporters.

Greetings and a warm welcome to everyone, It gives me immense joy & satisfaction to finally introduce the August Edition of our very Monthly Bulletin "Adwitiya". The best thing about the monthly bulletins is that it represents the creative side of our team. The Monthly Bulletin is one of the most important channels of communication between the Club and the Rotaractors. Rotaract Club of Dharmanagar is a distinctive club & none of what we do could be accomplished without the generosity & interest given by club members.
I am thankful to all our club members for their immense support. I want to give special thanks to our President Rtr. Ananya Bhattacharya for her tremendous support. A huge thank you to all persons who contributed inspiring messages without which there wouldn't have been this issue. Finally yet importantly, I would like to thank the Members & Board of Directors of my club for their everlasting support throughout the creation of this edition. During the last month Rotaract Club of Dharmanagar has done a diverse set of meaningful projects. I have tried to conjoin all of them through this monthly bulletin. This is my second monthly bulletin so I would be grateful to you if you can give me any constructive feedback about the bulletin so that I can improve upon my shortcomings in the future. The awesome picture in the cover has been clicked by Mr. Dhrubojyoti Debnath, a well-known photographer of Dharmanagar. Concluding with the hope that one day, we shall beat this Covid-19 and our earlier days will return. Finally, wishing a prosperous life to everyone.

Dear Rotaractors, Greetings!!! Its my pleasure to send you greetings. Well I can see the leadership of Rtr. Ananya Bhattacharjee is marvellous. She is doing great along with the team of Dharmanagar. Keep it up. The Monthly letter is a medium which connects you and district with promotions of activities and ideas of self service projects that the Clubs has accomplished within two months of the term 2020-21. Rotaract as regional Clubs distribute resources for Rotaractors. It's a driving force in enhancing communication, promotion of Rotaract awarness and growth in many regions of the world. As a Rotaract leader, your commitment and enthusiasm will set the tone for your Club members, your example will motivate them to connect the world. Everyday, I am reminded again and again why I serve. My Rotaract Service has changed my life, and through my service, I have changed others as well. You all being a part of the Rotaract Movement, make service a priority of life and began to open the doors in real opportunities. It's an immense pleasure for me to write as a secretary of Rotaract club of Dharmanagar for Adwitiya's August edition. We completed 2 months and ran the tenure smoothly with the support of all Bods & members, I hope in future also we can do the same.. In 2 months we did various projects for the sake of society among them I want to mention 1 project named as "WE FOR HER" - where we distributed 60 packets of sanitary napkins among 30 girls and awareness session for menstrual hygiene which is taken by Dr. Paramita Bhattacharjee. 01 74th Independence Day Celebration
Independence came to India after years of our freedom fighters countless struggles and sacrifices. 15th August, a special day to remember and honour them. During this pandemic, Rotaract club of Dharmanagar celebrated 74th Independence day with Rotary club of Dharmanagar by flag hoisting, national anthem and distribution of chocolates among the children.

02 (District Project) We for Her On the event of Independence Day, Rotaract Club of Dharmanagar accomplished one of our District (RID3240) project WE FOR HER.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION-
The event was held in Paschim Dewanpasha gram panchayat in presence of Pradhan Upapradhan of the panchayat. Also, the IPP of parent club and COZRR of zone 3 were present there. There was an awareness session on menstrual hygiene and the importance of sanitary napkin, that was taken by Dr. Paramita Bhattacharjee. Then we distributed 60 packets of sanitary Napkin among 30 girls (2packet each) of that village.

01 Swabalambi Swabalambi(स्वावलम्बी)-- a workshop for making pedal sanitizer dispenser in very low cost, the total expense for making the dispenser was Rupees 273/- (Price of materials may vary from place to place) and took about one and half hour to make that. Our club member Rtr. Debarshi Paul was the trainer for the workshop. And it was held at Charupasha gram panchayat on 23/08/2020, total 14 trainees were there. After finishing the workshop Trainees got 3 paid orders from the panchayat.
