About this insurance This tradesmen policy is available to self employed persons and businesses with up to 10 manual employees and a turnover of less than £650,000. The standard duration of this non-investment insurance contract is 12 months unless otherwise agreed by us. This tradesmen policy provides Public Liability cover as standard with a wide range of optional extensions available to enable you to tailor cover according to your needs. Optional extensions include employers liability, own plant tools & equipment, hired in plant, contract works and personal accident. Cover is available to a wide range of trades and automatically includes cover for temporary staff up to 50 man days in any period of insurance.
