Marion Cahill of Milford, CT,
authored a textbook for nursing majors called “Promoting Successful Aging: Psychological Concepts Applied to Nursing.” After Quinnipiac, she earned a BS in nursing from Johns Hopkins University, plus master’s degrees in nursing and education, and a doctorate in education from Teachers College, Columbia University. Marion has taught at several universities, and her research experiences have included a World Health Organization Fellowship in London. She also took part in the longitudinal studies for the MacArthur Studies of Successful Aging at Yale and Duke universities.
