The Tragedy

By Nadine O Neill Page 1 of 5

It was a bright Cold autumnal morning as bare trees waved their empty branches to the sky. As I woke up with the loud ringing noise of the alarm clock. I kicked of the blanket on to the floor. As I remembered that my friend and I were going horse riding. I was so eager to get up on beauty my horse that I didn’t notice that I put the saddle on backwards.

My friend and I jumped up on to the horses and cantered up through the fields. As we were cantering up through the wet and mucky ploughed field we decided that we should have a race. So when we got up on to the top of the hill we galloped up through the long and mucky filed. We decided that we wanted to do something fun. So I said let’s see who can stand up on the saddle for the longest.

My friend said no because to dangers so I remember

that

my friend never backs out of a dare so I dared her to do it.

So she tucked her foot out of the small and silver strip and put it on to the black leather saddle. As she stood up on to leather saddle shaking with fear the brown horse cantered of with fright. My friend fell of and banged her head of a rock.

As I jumped of my horse with shock I ran to see that she was on conations. I tried to check and see if she had a pulse put I couldn’t find one. I tuck my phone out and rang the ambulance.

The loud noise of the ambulance came up the road and into the field they tuck out the stretcher and lifted her cold body on to it.

The ambulance raced down the road. I rang my mam and told her what happened. I jumped up on to my horse and cantered home. When I got home I put the horse in to the shed and ran in to mam. We got in to the car and drove to the hospital.

On the way down I rang my friend’s mam and told her what happened. As we got to the hospital we ran in. My mam asked the woman behind the counter what room was my friend in she told us 201. I ran down all I could think of was that I shouldn’t have made her do it. Page 4 of 5

As I got near to the door I heard a lowed nose. I locked in to the window and all I could see was a load of wires attached to her.

The doctor came out and said that it was bad news and that she didn’t make it. My friends mam came in and seen me fall to the ground she knew that something bad had happened she ran in she asked what happened the doctor told her. She shouted at me and blamed me that it was my fault. I knew it was my fault I shouldn’t of mad her do it now she’s dead.
