As cities expand and massive human industrial production causes heavy metal contamination of the soil, the ratio of human to natural space becomes unbalanced. In order to blur the boundaries between natural and artifi cial spaces in the current urbanisa-tion, the East London area was chosen to discuss the improvement of specifi c ecological features of new types of spaces under harsh environmental conditions. The project seeks to simulate trends of mycelial growth, and combine with clay and other sub-strates to produce novel materials capable of effi ciently treating heavy metals in soil. CycleGAN is used to generate a method for redefi ning behavioural mechanisms between humans and non-humans in a distributed manner provided by mycelial intelligence.

Since the mid-17th century, humans have gradually come to dominate the space in which they live through the Industrial Revolution, and influence the living environment of other species. With the rapid expansion of cities, a large number of human industrial production has begun to cause a large amount of heavy metal pollution to the soil, which has become an important environmental factor causing the imbalance of human and natural space ratio.

In order to blur the boundaries between natural and man-made spaces in the current stage of urbanization, and to rethink the social relationship between humans and non-humans in interactive spaces, we chose the East London area to discuss specific uses and improvements. Ecological characteristics of new spaces under harsh environmental conditions.

By exploring suitable environmental conditions for mycelium growth as well as current geological conditions, the project sought to simulate the mycelium growth trends in East London and further combine the mycelium with clays and substrates to produce a mycelium that can improve the handling of heavy metals New material for efficiency in soil. We use generative adversarial network modeling as a method to speculate on the spatial evolution of future mycelium-intervention symbiosis. In addition to experimental simulations of new spatial morphologies constructed, an approach to redefining the behavioral mechanisms between humans and non-humans in a distributed fashion, provided by non-human intelligences, has been developed.

In the generation of urban form, the spatial structure of the city is generated with reference to the topographic form of the site eroded over time, and further considers the interaction between humans and non-humans. Attempts to generate new urban volumes through the projection of mycelial growth trajectories on topography, and construct necessary vertical structures to form new urban layouts.

The purpose of this project is to create a utopian urban development model, without destroying the original living environment and customs of the original residents, through sustainable energy to make the huge urban structure with various functions a dynamic main form self-renewal. The project focuses on the use of intelligent building ai to determine the reasonableness of urban design solutions and help individuals choose the right urban environment. With the current foreign population being overwhelmed by unfamiliar environments, AI software can help people to quickly test whether the existing urban environment is suitable for career development and future living needs.
