The Qualfon University (QU) community embodies a spirit of mutual trust and intellectual honesty that is central to the very nature of Qualfon, and represents the highest possible expression of the STRIDES values among the members of the school community. The function of the QU Honor Code is to communicate the meaning and importance of proper academic behaviors to all students of the school; to articulate and support the interest of the community in maintaining the highest standards of conduct in academic affairs; and to identify, sanction, and educate those who fail to live up to the stated expectations of the school community with regard to these standards. The fundamental beliefs underlying and reflected in the QU Honor Code are: Every student has the right to live in an academic environment that is free from the injustices caused by any form of intellectual dishonesty The honesty and integrity of all members of the school community contribute to its quest for truth. Stealing involves taking something that belongs to another without his/her knowledge and prior explicit permission Lying is the intentional misrepresentation of facts for personal gain, or in order to protect the interests of others Cheating is any form of academic dishonesty. It occurs when one uses and takes credit for the work of another person, whether the material be directly copied or superficially disguised (plagiarism). Cheating also includes the divulgence of the contents of a graded evaluation. I hereby commit to stand by and protect Qualfon University’s Honor Code and to make my best efforts to successfully complete the program that I have registered for, including my pledged 30% of total hours to Give, Care, or Fun@Work. I make this commitment for the sake of my own personal development and for the sake of putting to good use the company’s resources that have been entrusted to my education and further development.
