Language Development: Art education is not just about drawing. For every student, making art—or just talking about it—provides opportunities to learn words students can use descriptive words to discuss their own creations or to talk about what feelings are elicited when they see different styles of artwork. CAFFU Project: During the month of September the art room students working on caffu posters to increase the awareness of caffu value around the school and to share their artistic skills.
التصميم التكنولوجي لطالب الصف العاشر DT for Grade 10 طالب الصف العاشر (أ) يقومون بعمل التصميم المبدئي لتصميم سيارة سباقات وذلك ضمن مادة التصميم التكنولوجي. Grade 10A starting their initial designs for the racing car design, as this a part of their Design Technology subject.

From the College Counselor G12 students are beginning to work hard on their future and weigh their options. In the past couple of weeks they have been working on the IELTS and their school work. Students wishing to go to university in the UK should start filling the UCAS and USA complete the Common App. There is NO TIME TO DELAY! Students must ask for 2 letters of recommendations from their teachers and must write a personal statement. Please encourage them to complete these soon. Here at QLA we are preparing other events: Sept 21st is the Jamiat University Fair at the Sheraton Hotel. Please go to www.jamiatfairs.com to get a ticket for entry. Sept 30th QLA University Fair – we have invited local and a few international universities to our campus to speak with students. Students The IELTS exam is the English proficiency exam provided by the British Council and a requirement for anyone going to University in the UK, USA, any English speaking university even if in Qatar or in the Qatar military. We have set up preparation classes for the students at school and the students are schedule to take it on Saturday Oct 12, 2019. If
they are home, please ensure your son is up on time because late entrance is not permitted and the money will not be returned.
The SAT Exam is a proficiency exam for students who would like to attend university in the United States or an American university anywhere. The dates are limited and your son may only have the opportunity to take it 1 time. It is required for some universities, but it is not a requirement for most for international students. Please ask your son about the exam and date and complete the payment with a credit card if not already done. If this is not done soon the opportunity to take the exam may pass. أكاديمية قطر للقادة ترحب بالموظفين من خالل اللقاءات التعريفية كما تخللت على العديد من البرامج والورش التي،رحب إدارة أكاديمية قطر للقادة بالمعلمين والموظفيين الجدد من خالل اللقاءات التعريفية والتي أستمرت لمدة ثالث أسابيع 2020-2019 ساهمت في رسم خريطة العمل للعام األكاديمي Qatar Leadership Academy welcomed the staff into the new academic year QLA’s higher management welcomed it’s teachers and new staff through the orientation sessions which was continued for three weeks, including a lot of the programs and workshops which was supportive to plan for the Academic year 2019-2020.

انطلقت في أكاديمية قطر للقادة فعاليات اليوم الدراسي األول للللعلام الدراسي اللجلديلد ،2020-2019حليلا اسلتلقلبلللت األكلاديلمليلة طلالبل لا ومنسوبي ا في أول يوم دراسي باالبتلسلاملة واللملالبلة واللتلفلا ل بلعلام واللللللللللللنلللللللللللجلللللللللللا . جللللللللللديلللللللللللد ملللللللللللللللللللللليء بلللللللللللالللللللللللنلللللللللللشلللللللللللا وتضمن افتتا اليوم الدراسي الترحيب بأولياء األمور ،كما تلملت ملراسلم رفع العلم والنشيد الوطني في بداية الافلل ،ملم أللقلى السليلد جلمليلل كتيم الشمري المدير العام لألكاديمية كلمة رحب في ا بالطالب اللجلدد وحث م على االجت اد ونوه في كلمته إلى أهمية التعاون بيلن اللملدرسلة والمنزل اليجلاد بليلتلة تلربلويلة حلافلللة بلاللتلمليلز واللنلجلا ،وأن االنلطلالقلة الصاياة والسليمة تتطلب بدايات صاياة أيضاً وملن هلنلا تلأتلي أهلمليلة برنامج استقبال الطالب والذي ي دف إلى مساعدة اللطلالب بلاالنلتلقلال إلى مايط المدرسة وذلك وفق برنامج تربوي تدريجي مشلو وملالبلب للنفس وتم عقد جلسه نقاشية مفتوحة مع الطلبة وأولياء األمور الجدد وتالها جولة تعريفية باللملبلنلى اللجلديلد للألكلاديلمليلة واللكلائلن بلملنلطلقلة المزروعة. Qatar Leadership Academy (QLA), joyfully welcomed students, faculty and staff to the commencement of the 20192020. Old and new students and their parents attended the first day of school, , a flag-raising ceremony accompanied by the Qatar national anthem, and welcoming comments from QLA Director, Mr. Jameel K. Al Shemmari. Mr. Jameel urged students to be diligent and highlighted the importance of cooperation between school and home to nurture an environment of excellence and success. Mr. Al Shemmari continued to emphasis that a correct and proper launch requires proper beginnings, hence the importance of New Student Orientations, which aim to help students transition to the school environment based on a gradual educational program that is stimulating and enjoyable as well the orientation day included an open dialogue session with students and their parents and then there was a general tour for the parents for the new campus which is located in Al Mazroua.
