Welcome Cattle Enthusiasts This marks the 23rd year of our TOP CUT FEMALE SALE. We are always trying to keep our program current and our Genetics fresh. Our 1000+ cow herd is not pampered in any way shape or form. The 40+ Bred heifers in the offering were just pulled from Grass less than 30 days ago and are designed to WORK for you. Look for them online at MidContinentFarms.com. The Multi Breed open heifer offering speaks for itself. It took us a while to find the right kind of Simmental Genetics that fit our low input cowherd but yet had the pizzazz to be competitive in show ring environment. We are fortunate that the education system in our High Schools and Colleges have trended to a conservative money making type of animal and that fits perfect with or system. Our Angus, Maine, Chi, and Crossbred Genetics have virtually never changed. As always our Forte’ is our unique genetics that provide excellent outcross to current breed topping Sires and provide the building blocks of quality and practical fundamentals. They have stood the test of time and as we always say, check your pedigrees, chances are our genetics will show up in your Champion as well. Thanks for your confidence in our program and have a great Holiday Season.

This one will show with the best of em because she is absolutely flawless in her structure and skeletal package. When she stoutens up like her older sisters it could be game over.

SIRE: JSAR TITAN (AAA *16542035) DAM: JSAR MISS HOT ROD 297BJMS (15956925) (HOT ROD X E161) If it weren’t for two older Full Sisters in Production we wouldn’t be selling this one. If she is half as cabable of doing the things her full sisters have done then she will still make you money. This mating has worked on this cow for many years, if it aint broke don’t fix it. This one will show and I wouldn’t doubt her making someone’s donor lineup someday.

This one here will stop you with her perfectly square build with the kind of mass and power you only see in a few Angus. Show heifer or cow this female has what it takes.

SIRE: GAMBLES HOT ROD (AAA 13897812) DAM: JSAR MISS RODMAN 55W (16552267) (RODMAN X WAR DIRECTION/HOT ROD) Dr Sunday and us flushed a Rodman daughter we own together to Hot Rod to raise the right kind. Her mother was selected in a past JSAR sale because of her combination of cow power and look. These next two heifers are different in there kind and honestly with their genetic profile, should be kept. 30 is flawless in her skeleton and has the extra body and comfort of movement that Hot Rod puts in for generations.

ID: Bang BD: 5/8 Percentage Simmental (3/4) BW 72 Polled

ID: J18B BD: 5/28 Percentage A younger, Red Baldy sister to the successfully shown Stalcup heifer last year. This is a 3/4 blood Simmental to boot. Guys shouldn’t sell 3/4 bloods built like this one and with a history of champions Simmental (3/4) BW 74 like in this one’s pedigree, but here she is. Polled (REG. # 2743620 OR # 3171076)

SIRE: TKCC HAMMER 369D (HAMMER X PILGRIM) DAM: INTRASTATE X TRES/FEAR THIS This is the 2nd Simmy heifer that stems back to our Fear This x Cunia cow. That cow was known for putting the kind of foot and bone combined with structural integrity that takes generations to build. Her dam sold in this sale as an open heifer and she’s sired by a Hammer Son walking at Curtis Wiedel’s.

SIRE: JESTER, MAVERICK, BROKER X HR/8543 DAM: RODMAN X CHAROLAIS Never in our years have we seen a female built like this one. She is exactly what a guy needs, to forward a Simmental Program. Huge Bellied, massive in her design and skeleton, and so firm and fluent in her structure its almost surreal to believe she can put it all together like she does.

ID: 551PD BD: 4/28 Last year we sold an Angus Sired Female out of a Red Baldy Simmental heifer and she went on to % Simmental(1/4) to be Reserve at the All Iowa Showdown for the Stalcups. She had to win her county, and a district /AOB BW 66 show to get to that point. This female could do just that. Her dam is a beautiful uttered Big Deal Polled heifer.
