Pymble gives back
Pymble girls are raised to be influential and compassionate women and this is evident in the Junior School’s Kindness mission.
On 18 June the girls marked 'B Kinder Day' by collecting colouring-in packs, soap, deodorant, toothpaste and toothbrushes, shampoo and conditioner, pads and tampons to donate to the Hornsby and Ku-ring-gai Women’s Shelter.

The girls also made special cards to be given to women living at the shelter. Along with the donations, these cards were delivered by Kindness Captains Georgia Yuen and Charlotte King (Year 6).
“The world could use a little more kindness, so the purpose of B Kinder Day is to discuss kindness and empower children to see that they each have the capacity to make a difference,” said Head of Junior School, Mrs Kate Brown. Year 11 Textiles students who designed and made quilts during their Year 10 studies also donated their beautiful works to the shelter in March. These were gratefully received by Pymble 1977 alumnus and Hornsby and Ku-ringgai Women’s Shelter Board Director Catherine Knox.
