Anyone who is passionate about the youth of our community and how we can build assets (the positive attributes) in youth and young adults please join PYD for: Positive Youth Development of Erie County (PYD): Asset Training:

“Anyone Can be an Asset Builder” A training designed to inform individuals about the Developmental Asset framework and motivate them to be effective asset builders. Participants will:  Understand Search Institute’s framework of Developmental Assets and the role of the individual asset builders  Learn about Positive Youth Development’s efforts to promote assets  Identify the general characteristics of effective asset builders  Identify personal areas of strength and challenges  Understand the concept of asset building and asset building impact  Explore barriers to being an individual asset builder and strategies for moving toward action and  Make and share a personal commitment to asset-building action
