Guarantee Duration This Guarantee is for a period of up to ten (10) years from the date of purchase.

Guarantee PWS guarantees that the Goods will be free from manufacturing defects and that, if manufacturing defects are proven to exist, the goods will be replaced or repaired. The Guarantee may not be assigned or transferred to another person. Many of the products used in our worksurfaces are natural and will, therefore, have variations which are to be expected in products of this type. Our Guarantee covers you for any material defects in the structure of our quartz, solid surface, granite, marble or timber worksurfaces manufactured and fabricated by us but will only apply to Goods installed in the UK or Northern Ireland. We also guarantee that the workmanship of any installation carried out by our own fitting teams will be of a high standard and fit for the purpose. Subject to paragraph 3. below, we will repair or replace in part or whole, or offer you the appropriate value in cash any worksurface which is covered by our Guarantee if the claim under our Guarantee is justified in our reasonable opinion. If a replacement worksurface is offered by us, but identical materials are no longer available, we reserve the right to replace the worksurface with the nearest equivalent.

Exclusions PWS will not be responsible for the following:

Any indirect or consequential costs or damages arising from any defects with the exception of death or personal injury arising from our negligence. Any costs associated with unauthorised work undertaken to rectify any problems. Problems arising with the fitting of timber worksurfaces in damp or unheated buildings. Problems arising from the fitting and sealing of sinks after one year of installation. Any guarantee claim in respect of manufactured sink joints after one year of installation. Any claim arising wholly or in part from use of the worksurface for any purpose for which it is not intended. Failure of any worksurface joint after one year of installation. Any use other than as a domestic worksurface. Problems arising from the installation of a worksurface by a third party contractor other than those employed by PWS. Any guarantee claim arising wholly or in part from failure to observe the care and maintenance provisions provided with the worksurface or from exposure of the worksurface outdoors. Any claim arising from natural colour variances, pitting, veining and small fissures. Any guarantee claim arising wholly or in part from any natural disaster or from damage caused by interaction with any product or other cause beyond PWS's control. Any guarantee claim in respect of any matter which would have been apparent on installation but which has not been brought to PWS's attention within 7 days of installation or within 30 days of the fault becoming apparent. Care and Maintenance Your worksurface came with detailed care and maintenance guidance. This guidance must be adhered to in order for any Guarantee claim to be valid. Any abuse or lack of proper maintenance of the worksurface will invalidate the Guarantee

Claims must be notified to us within one week of installation or within 30 days of the fault becoming apparent.
