Stream • Bank, pier and boat fishing for bluegill and largemouth bass (Appropriate Virginia State fishing licenses are required for everyone age 16 and above) • Canoe and kayak launch • Picnic areas • Four miles of multipurpose trails shared by equestrians and hikers • Restroom facilities available Fondly referred to as “The Barn” by longtime area residents. Most newcomers may not know that the center was a working farm prior to 1974 when it became a facility for the community to enjoy safe, well-run and affordable programs for all ages.

Center Rentals:

The perfect venue for your next (non-motorized boats)

wedding, company party, birthday party or family reunion. Rentals are offered on a one-time rental or on a recurring basis.

Outdoor Pavilion Rentals:

Pat White Center at Ben Lomond is also your scheduling contact for pavilion rentals at James S. Long Park in Haymarket and Nokesville Park in Nokesville. The beauty and amenities of each park makes James S. Long Park and Nokesville Park the perfect venue for your next special event.

No trash cans. Our “Trash in, Trash out” policy: Whatever you bring into the park, you are responsible for taking back out with you.
