The Park Ranger Division of the Department of Parks, Recreation & Tourism is responsible for promoting the safe enjoyment of Prince William County’s parks and recreational facilities. The Park Ranger division will provide information and guidance on the following: • Natural resources, game and fishing compliance. • Geocaching inspections and authorization. • Naturalist programming • Special events • Hold harmless agreements • ABC permits confirmation/ compliance • Use of moon bounces, tents and temporary structures • Outside grilling and use of personal grills On a daily basis Park Rangers maintain a visible presence at all park properties and provide Golf is one of the most diverse and inclusive sports being played today. All kids from 8-17 are welcome, regardless of previous experience. Based on your skill level we will: cover the basics of golf, rules and etiquette, solid impact, course management and on to more advanced golf skills. First Tee also places a premium on core values such as honesty, respect, confidence and judgment. These values help build social skills, deal with peer pressure and how to self-manage through most situations. There will be NO class on Monday, Oct. 12, Columbus Day.

The First Tee ® of Prince William County began providing The First Tee ® curriculum in the summer of 2002. In our Certification

Programming, we have reached over 2,000 unique youth within the Northern Virginia area. In addition to our certification

programming, The First Tee ® National School Program is

currently implemented in 36 elementary schools servicing over 25,000 youth in Prince William County on a yearly basis.

• Report suspicious activity in any of our parks, trails or recreational facilities. • Unauthorized motor vehicles (including ATVs, off-road motorcycles) on trails, ballfields and/or passive recreation areas of park property. • Parking and/or traffic issues within park property.
