Built between 1805 and 1825, Bowcliffe Hall retains the stately atmosphere of a country house, but has the amenities expected of a modern events, meeting and office venue. Situated just off the A1(M), four miles south of Wetherby and close to both York and Leeds, Bowcliffe Hall is an ideal base for business, an inspiring venue for meetings and a beautiful venue for special events.

The Bowcliffe Room is filled with an abundance of natural daylight thanks to its large sash windows, offering sweeping views across the manicured gardens. The Drivers’ Club is an exclusive private members’ club, available for hire outside usual working hours. It is an intimate and luxurious venue, with impressive decor inspired by the glamorous 1920’s and the golden age of motoring. Original art and artefacts adorn the walls, alongside commissioned pieces of motoring memorabilia, collected over the years by the club’s founder and owner of Bowcliffe Hall, Jonathan Turner.

Perfect in the warmer months, the Drivers’ Club also offers direct access to the terrace for al fresco dining, refreshments or lawn activities.

The Briefing Room

Situated within the Drivers’ Club, the Briefing Room is an intimate space available to hire exclusively for private dining during evenings and weekends. With a log-burning stove, comfortable seating, and wood-panelled walls, it’s the ideal place to hunker down during the colder weather.

Nestled in ancient woodland at the heart of the Bowcliffe Estate, the awardwinning Blackburn Wing is a 2,000 sq ft treehouse that has a real “wow” factor. This architectural marvel, crafted from copper and glass, pays homage to the aviation legend Robert Blackburn, former proprietor of Bowcliffe Hall. With its awe-inspiring design, the Blackburn Wing offers a tranquil setting that is sure to effortlessly elevate any meeting.
