Dear Student, Once again, we stand before you with a team of enthusiastic and determined candidates, with a purposeful vision of your ideas for a better Junior College. This year’s message is: Choose Forward. In the past four years, Pulse in KSJC has managed to instill a positive change in the council’s functions, and now more than ever, the need for a strong, unified and experienced council has never been more crucial for Junior College to continue moving forward. Following quite a challenging year, we are here to present you with another solid electoral programme, targeted to showcase our passion in what we believe in, initiatives for the benefit of every student and creating various opportunities in the coming months. 1. Pulse in KSJC will invest in antibacterial wipes in main common areas and any classrooms being used. 2. Pulse in KSJC will discuss the possibility of granting students the necessary travelling time in between physical and virtual lectures. 3. Pulse in KSJC will promote and urge students to download the Covid-19 Mobile Application. 4. Pulse in KSJC will open discussions to introduce automatic sanitizer dispensers on every floor.

Pulse in KSJC will emphasise on the importance of every lecture being recorded in case of students encountering internet connection issues. 8. Pulse in KSJC will collaborate with different computer repair shops to offer exclusive discounts on computer and laptop repairs for every student. 9. Pulse in KSJC will collaborate with various companies to offer exclusive discounts of at least 15% off on headsets to all Junior College students.

Pulse in KSJC will organise an ‘Anti-Domestic Violence and Harassment Campaign’ to raise awareness on such issues. 22. Pulse in KSJC will initiate discussions with regards to sexual health, whilst also opening discussions regarding the student's opinion on the morning-after pill.

Pulse in KSJC will push forward for an increase in the availability of various sanitary products on Campus, whilst also commencing discussions on green alternatives of the aforementioned products such as the menstrual cups. 25. Pulse in KSJC will launch a ‘Mental Health Campaign’, as part of its efforts to overcome the stigma surrounding mental illness. 26. Pulse in KSJC will set up a policy-making forum to tackle issues such as equality and human rights. 27. Pulse in KSJC will introduce ‘I Belong’, a programme to encourage foreign students to integrate and better understand our culture.

Pulse in Ksjc will collaborate with the Junior College Administration to organise the ‘JC Job Expo’, doing our utmost to attract more employers and speakers to take part. 31. Pulse in KSJC will collaborate with the Junior College Administration to organise the ‘JC Health Week’. We will strive to increase the student body’s engagement and participation in such events.

Pulse in KSJC will collaborate with the concerned stakeholders to involve students in policy making on both national and international level.

A survey will be published before the Christmas Recess to determine what can be improved on the current online lecture system and their convenience.
