Experts can help golfers get into the swing

eading golf retailer, AFGolf Store is certainly hitting the sweet spot with its expanding services, new staff signings and growing business. The team at AFGolf Store, which has thriving golf superstores in Milton Keynes, Peterborough and Cambridge, has now revealed plans to branch out with its premium delivery service, new online retail store and the evolution of its workshop. Managing director Alan Fletcher, believes these additional services, staff members and ways to purchase will make AFGolf Store the premier destination for golfers. “Our business is very simple. We aim to create a fun, enjoyable environment for golfers to shop and for staff to work, whilst providing competitive prices and working towards a range of unrivalled services.” The company’s workshop and build centre is the brainchild of Alan and sales director Oliver Fullerton. It means, for an additional charge through the premium delivery service, golfers

can have custom-built golf clubs available in just seven days. Oliver Fullerton says: “It has been a tough and eventful road setting up the workshop and working with partners to gain access to club components to be able to offer this service, however totally worth it. We have invested in equipment and staff to ensure that our customers can access this service and we are now seeing its expansion and have plenty of opportunities to grow in the next year.” A recruitment drive has enabled the company to expand its service. Appointments include Jack Yetton who joined AFGolf Store from Titleist. Alan says: “Jack’s experience in custom clubs and love of custom-build along with his undeniable desire for quality has allowed us to look forward with the workshop and build centre quicker than we were hoping. “We believe that each customer should be given choice. to choosing to be able to upgrade their delivery time.” Buying online has been another growth area with the appointment of Chris Hattersley to Ecommerce and Marketing Manager in June.
