Research has found that far too often a disproportionate number of African American students are suspended and expelled from school. A robust approach to achieving educational equity should include a dialogue between students, families, and a school’s leadership about discipline policies, as well as a thoughtful look at discipline data. This interactive session will give you the tools you need to address disparities and rethink discipline in your school or in your charter sector.
