attention to detail and care for the transition. All of the committee expressed their thanks and gratitude and I pass that on here, and on behalf of the whole membership who value the Journal. I hope the summer has allowed you to re-charge and look forward to your own projects.

Finally, it has been the usual summer; tennis thrilled us for a bit, football nearly came home, the Olympics are on as I write and optimism lingers; I hope this means many of you are getting some good writing done, I know I am. Stay safe and stay well, let’s hope the Covid brambles clear from our path so we can saunter down autumnal paths and through the trees with a smile - it’s a great time to be a part of NAWE as we continue to shape and adapt our organisation to the challenges in the world today, for the future.
