THE BREAKWATERS
Este paseo con 1400 metros de extensión construido en 1845, recientemente fue remozado totalmente, construyéndose un hermoso mirador y la Plazoleta La Escollera en donde podrás adquirir artesanías y diversos productos. No dejes de visitarlo.
This stroll with 1400 meters of area built in 1845, recently was totally renovated, offering a beautiful viewpoint and the Plazoleta La Escollera (Escollera small square) where you will be able to acquire crafts and a variety of products. Don’t forget to visit them.

na buena forma de iniciar tu día es caminando en las Escolleras, aunque cualquier hora es excelente para visitar este paseo e internarte más de un kilómetro en el mar por este emblemático malecón flanqueado por enormes cubos de roca hasta alcanzar el extremo, donde el río Pánuco y el Golfo de México funden sus aguas en un solo tono azul y verde. Desde aquí podrás observar pequeñas y grandes embarcaciones entrando y saliendo por la bocana, toninas surcando las aguas y aves de diferentes tipos recorriendo el aire con su vuelo, parte del espectáculo natural que brinda diariamente este inolvidable recorrido.

A good way to start your day is by walking on the breakwaters (although any time is excellent) or take a stroll and go more than one kilometer in the sea on this emblematic jetty, flanked by huge cubes of rock, until you reach the other side, where the Pánuco river and the Gulf of Mexico merge their waters into one blue-green tone. From here you’ll see ships, small and large, sailing from the port; the river dolphins plowing through the waters and myriad birds crossing the air with their flight, part of the natural show which daily occurs on this unforgettable walk.
