The Masterpiece rods are probably the best feeder rods on the market today. Every single feature has been optimised down to the last detail as one can see from many of the details: The unusual segmentation and the long faucet joints are the result of aerodynamic studies and numerous field tests to obtain the absolute optimum in terms of casting distance and precision.
In close cooperation with feeder champion Michael Zammataro we have developed professional feeder rods that are unrivalled and which represented a real challenge to our product developers. We developed two series with Michael and his team of ten. Firstly the Edition IM-12 Masterpiece series: absolute high tech rods which Michael and his team also use when competing. Secondly the Magna Maestro IM-8 series: top grade rods at modest prices.
The newly developed GMW IM-12 Carbon is a real eye catcher with the golden metal threads that have been woven into it. It is not only goodlooking; it also lends the rod blank enormous stability. Original Fuji reel seats and excellent titanium SIC guides round off this top grade rod.
We also set great store by our spare parts and spare tip service! This makes for a sense of security and confidence and that is what one needs to win! The latest, updated information about various events, assemblies, feeding tips and, of course, the right way to handle the new Balzer tackle is to be found as usual at www.zammataro.de. The diameter on the joint connection is 3,6mm. All spare tips are fitting to all Masterpiece and Magna Maestro rods and the most available feeder rods. The tips are all made of carbon (except 1 oz).

light feeder 65 This is an extremely sensitive feeder rod with absolutely parabolic action. It is always used when catching low weight fish and using the finest lines and hooks. The fish senses almost no resistance because when the bite takes place the rod literally runs along with it until it then needs only to be lifted a little. When you use this feeder rod, you will hardly ever lose a fish during play and you will experience the pure joy of playing the fish. Types of use: Canals and still waters for distances up to approximately 50 m.

medium feeder 115 It is used on all lakes, quarry ponds and in slow currents. The Medium Feeder is used for fishing over any distance up to 80 m. The extra-long fin between the handle and the middle section give the rod a great deal of dynamism and casting power with little effort. Thanks to their pleasantly light dead weight, one can fish for hours with this feeder rod without ever tiring.

Heavy feeder 155 This is Michael’s “favourite rod”. As a confirmed current and distance fetishist this rod is often the priority choice to be used at most events involving really long distances. Here, too it has an extremely long fin that constitutes a tremendous reinforcement of the backbone of the blank and provides the necessary power reserves for casting. In spite of the rod’s tremendous power, in the upper region it demonstrates a well-balanced action, permitting controlled and dynamic play. Guides with large diameters right up to the tip permits the line to slide optimally during casting and makes this tackle a real “casting crackerjack”. Distances up to 100 m are feasible.

ultra heavy feeder 310 Fishing for barbell is becoming increasingly popular and in many stretches of river the barbels have already ousted the bream population. As the pugnacious build of this beefcake reveals, the big barbels are for preference caught in the Hammer current. We developed this series of rods specifically to be able to fish here with weights above 300g. In situations where others would have to capitulate you will be able to continue to do target fishing. At a length of only 3.23m you can fish wonderfully under obstacles and also cast sideways. With this sensitive rod bottom fishing with rolling weights becomes a genuine pleasure. Professional rods at affordable prices! Michael‘s and our goal in developing this series was ambitious. We wanted to develop rods which would on the one hand be up to competition level while at the same time remaining affordable. The result is really something to be proud of. Thanks to the IM-8 carbon fibre combined with the Power Fibre Concept production method, the rods progressively gather momentum during casting and therefore facilitate astonishing casting distances paired with extreme precision.
