Eagle project benefits children experiencing homelessness
STOKESDALE – Scouts BSA Troop 600’s Dylan Joyce held his Eagle Court of Honor on July 11. For his Eagle Scout project, Dylan led the construction of a rabbit hutch and Dylan Joyce bird houses to benefit children experiencing homelessness in Greensboro. A resident of Stokesdale, he is the son of Daryle and Dana Joyce. Dylan’s Eagle project benefits Victoria’s Place, a playhouse and art space created by Ronald and Victoria Milstein for children experiencing homelessness who receive emergency family shelter from the Shirley T. Frye YWCA in Greensboro. For his project, Dylan led the construction of a rabbit hutch made from fencing boards and three bird houses made of treated lumber.
