G. Notes, Do you belong t o the jolly bunch of J. U. G.'s? Once a J. U. G., always a J . U. G. This club was organized last year., and the members of the club count evenings spent at the J. U. G. Club meetings among the most pleasant of all the year. All girls of Normal rank, rooming in houses where there are not more than five, automatically become members of the club at the beginning of each year. If you are included in this group, we want you at our business and social meetings. Regular meetings are held the first Saturday of each month in expression hall. Pholol Philo! Oh, say! let me tell you the news .b efore any one else has a chance. There is a Philo program Saturday night. And I know something else about it, too. It is going to be an open meeting, which means that everyone, whether a member or not, may attend. I bet there'll be a big crowd there, too ; don't you? Now, if you know of any one who neglected to join Philo don't let them stay at home and get lonesome; bring them to the Philo entertainment Saturday night, October 11, in the chapel. Remember it is the night after we win from Midland.

Professor Gregg was a most welcome visitor on our campus By the box or pound. Jnst the Saturday. Tho enjoying his new thing for .that Birthday Present work at Wesleyan he has not forgotten his old friends at Peru. He NORMAL STO~E spent th~ day at The Pointer office, arranging for the mailing out of the preliminary programs for the State Teachers' Association. This meeting promises to be one of the AND largest in the history of the state. Much credit is due Professor Gregg for his proficient service in arranging such an excellent program for association week. He has promised Batt~ries or Anything to b~ with the Peruvians at the!r in the Hardware line annual banquet at Omaha.
