WELCOME FROM CHANCELLOR FORD

Welcome! Congratulations on your acceptance to Penn State Behrend. We’re happy you’ve taken the opportunity today to visit us and learn more about the college. We’ve put together a day of activities and presentations that will showcase what makes Behrend unique—our in-demand degree programs, our outstanding faculty, our excellent academic facilities, and our active and engaged campus life. There are so many possibilities ahead of you, and Behrend is a great place to discover your potential and prepare for your future. As you’re on campus today, I urge you to picture yourself here soon: Maybe engaging in thought-provoking discussions in the classroom, or taking part in research with faculty. Maybe working directly with employers in our Open Lab learning. Maybe taking on a leadership role on campus, or finding your place in a student club. Does Behrend seem like a good fit for you? Are you excited about creating your future with us? Your offer of admission is a sign that we can picture you succeeding here. We are ready to help you take the next step, and we look forward to welcoming you to the Behrend family. Sincerely, Ralph M. Ford, Ph.D. Chancellor
