PAUL HARRADINE

Paul Harradine is a clinical musculoskeletal podiatrist and director of The Podiatry Centre, with clinics around Hampshire and Surrey. Since qualifying in 1994, Paul has gained an MSc in sports injury and therapy and CertEd working in both NHS clinical specialist posts and educational settings before becoming a full time private practitioner in 2003. He lectures on the post graduate circuit and has published papers in podiatric, physiotherapy, and orthopaedic texts on first ray function, plantar pressure analysis technology, taping, outcome studies, orthoses production, and foot function theory amalgamation. Paul has prescribed more than 9000 pairs of custom foot orthotics, making more than 6000 of these himself. •

FRASER MCKINNEY

MSc BSc MCSP First Team Physiotherapist - West Bromwich Albion FC Fraser McKinney currently works as the 1st team physiotherapist for West Bromwich Albion FC. He was previously the 1st team physiotherapist for Newcastle Falcons RUFC and the head physiotherapist for British Basketball in the lead up to and at the London 2012 Olympics. Fraser has presented at the International Amateur Athletics Federation (IAAF) conference, lectured at the University of Leeds and delivered teaching seminars to professional athletes and sporting clubs. He has a growing national reputation as a sports physiotherapist with increasing recognition of his expertise in the specific area of the foot and ankle. He has written on this topic for industry publications, has been recently involved with producing a series of publications for a worldwide medical magazine, and is writing up his ankle injury research for academic publication. • •

ALAN TAYLOR MSc MLACP MCSP

Alan Taylor is a lecturer at the Division of Physiotherapy Education, University of Nottingham, associate lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University, and a visiting lecturer at numerous other institutions. Alan has 15 years’ experience of teaching postgraduate clinical courses for altered haemodynamics and manual therapy, vertebrobasilar insufficiency, cervical arterial dysfunction (CAD), and sports medicine; - all topics related to altered haemodynamics and clinical reasoning. Alan has presented as guest speaker at numerous courses and conferences in the UK and worldwide since 2002. He works as an expert witness in the field of medical negligence related to altered haemodynamics and CAD, and is the author of over 20 peer-reviewed articles, two book chapters, primary research in haemodynamics and sports medicine, and is member of a literature review programme in CAD, commissioned by the MACP.
