The SaeboGlove is the latest innovation from Saebo, the world-renowned provider of evidence-based therapy solutions to the population with impaired functionality and mobility. The product assists clients suffering from neurological and orthopaedic impairment with finger and thumb extension, and enables hand functionality in both therapy and at home. With a lightweight, low-profile functional design, the SaeboGlove positions the wrist and fingers into extension, in preparation for functional activities. The device enables the client to grasp an object, through independent flexing of the fingers. The extension system allows the client to then reopen the hand to release the object. Evidence shows the impact the glove has on the hand is instantly effective. Activities such as opening the lid of a container or opening a cupboard door are achieved with a degree of ease and control incomparable to when the client is without the assistance of the device.
