Free CPD – Budget update – Acclaimed tax lecturer and Tolley Director of Tax Markets & Learning Solutions Chris Jones will be presenting a free CPD lecture updating you on the changes coming from the 2014 budget. The notes from the lecture will be available to take away at the end of the session. Tolley®Library Master Class – Manni Sasani, Tolley Key Account Manager, will be providing expert advice on how to get the best from Tolley®Library, the largest reference library of its kind in the UK. Attendees will receive a free Tolley®Tax Digest and a copy of one of the Tolley®Tax Annuals to take away after the session. Starting up in practice – Kimberley Williams, Managing Director of Williams Wroe Management Consultants, will be providing advice and guidance on how to successfully start and grow your own practice. Attendees will also get access to a webinar on how to get the most out of LinkedIn.

Diploma taster – Simon Groom, Tolley Director of Exam Training and Practical Guidance, will be running a taster session on one of the new Tolley diplomas. This is a chance to see what the new diplomas have to offer whilst getting an update on some key tax issues. There will be an example pack to take away. Tolley ®Guidance Master Class – This session gives you the opportunity to see Tolley’s online practical guidance tool Tolley®Guidance and get expert tips on how best to use it from Lynne Poyser, Tolley®Guidance Personal Tax author. There will be a free content tool kit to take away and a free trial of the product so that you can use it to support the work you are doing in your own time. CTA taster – Chris Siddle, Head of Tolley®Exam Training, will be running a CTA Taster session to allow attendees to see what the CTA qualification involves and if it is the right qualification for them. There will an example chapter and pack to take away after this session.
