WEEKEND STAFF

DSE and Parks Victoria employ hundreds of field staff to assist with the prevention and suppression of bushfires in parks and forests. All training will be provided and positions are open to anyone who: • Has a high level of fitness • Is a team player • Holds a current manual drivers licence

Positions are available over the warmer months and include firefighters, machine operators, hover exit crew and rappel crew members. Salaries range from $765.32 - $1084.81 per week plus 9% superannuation. Successful candidates located at Parks Victoria work centres with Parks Victoria supervisors will be employed by Parks Victoria. All other successful candidates will be employed by DSE.
