Introduction to PRP

We are a large international multidisciplinary practice providing Architecture and a range of complementary design and consultancy services including Urban Design and Masterplanning, Landscape Design, Environmental Services, Project Management and Planning. PRP has 50 years experience in housing and our portfolio embraces all aspects of residential and mixed use development, from the general to the specialist and across the public and private sectors. Our projects range from small scale to large urban regeneration projects, new settlements and mixed use developments that involve other sectors including education, health, leisure, retail, work places and community uses. We operate across the United Kingdom and in overseas markets where our knowledge and expertise in housing, sustainable design and place-making adds value to the regeneration and development of towns and cities.

new place urban extensions We work collaboratively with the design team to ensure that our schemes draw on the strength of their context and are developed within a framework to ensure a clear movement strategy, green and blue structure and public realm hierarchy. This provides a setting for development that respects its surroundings, embraces the needs of people and nature and will sustain over time.

•• Mixed use hotel, conference and leisure development located around Bai Dao Lake in Chongqing province, China •• Landscape uses the sloping ground to exploit views and create a terraced woodland setting containing areas to enjoy the spa, teas, local cooking and herbal medicine •• Planting is carried over the building in a series of courtyards themed to showcase iconic plants from the locality •• A sports and leisure park is centred around a public square containing games courts, covered events space and play areas
