Another successful ski/golf day By PETER HUNT THE annual Mark Adams Ski and Golf Day was held last Friday. Almost 100 competitors took to Mt Buller’s slopes in the morning and then the golf fairways in the afternoon. The annual day raises
money for the Mansfield schools snowsports program, and this year raised some $21,000 from the event. On behalf of the students, Mansfield Secondary College snowsports coordinator, Geoff Walker, thanked all the participants for pitching in.
“I especially want to thank Mark Adams for his continued sponsorship of the day,” he said. “Never underestimate the impact of the day on the students of the area. “We try to be inclusive, to support the kids who cannot afford snowsports and also those who are progress-
ing in their skills.” Mark Adams thanked everyone for a great night and a great day. Winners on the day were Overall winners: Team BSL - Darren Delacy, Laurie Blampied, Roman Pacak and Ross Taylor

Prunster and Brian Harvey. Fastest individual down the mountain was David Speirs in 11.768 seconds. At the other end, though they might be good on the green, on the white Tony Cooksey (1 minute 27.994 seconds) and Nicola Moult (1 minute 23.868seconds) were the slowest.
