Vista 2022

Dear Providence Community,

In this time of constant flux and change, I am filled with gratitude for the generosity and constancy of our Providence High School community. A Providence education, rooted in the mission and charism of the Sisters and calling each of us to be “expressions of God’s healing love,” is more valuable and relevant than ever.

Whether you graduated in the Pioneer class of 1959 or are a recent graduate, I hope you still feel and appreciate your Providence experience. With over 6,000 living alumni, I know that Providence is having a positive impact on our world through your lives. The recent passing of Sr. Lucille Dean, SP (Sr. Assunta Marie) provides an opportunity to reflect on that impact. We still feel hers here on campus and hope you will consider donating in her memory to support the new Sister Lucille SP Memorial Fund. More information will be shared about this fund in the months ahead, but it is being developed to ensure that Sr. Lucille’s legacy remains alive and well in the coming decades.

I hope you enjoy this edition of Vista and that it reinforces your pride in being a Pioneer.

Yours in Providence,

Scott McLarty
