Six-Word Stories The Six-word Story is a genre of flash fiction that attempts to convey the emotion of a dramatic event using only (and exactly) six words. The most famous example is often attributed to Ernest Hemingway: For Sale: Baby shoes, never worn. This issue’s six-word stories center loosely around the theme of looking towards the end of the pandemic:
