Alder/Aulne/Erle/Els Alder is pale yellow to reddish in color, evenly textured and has a moderate weight and hardness. Small random tight knots and rays are sometimes present and give alder its unique character. Boards made from Alder are made from 1 piece of wood without any glue. Alder wood boards can be oiled and boards with bark can also be lack coated. These boards comply with EU regulation EN1935:2004.
Maple/Érable/Ahorn/Esdoorn Maple is strong, hard, straight-grained and fine textured. White in color with some reddish-brown hues. Boards made from Maple are made from 1 piece of wood without any glue. These boards comply with EU regulation EN1935:2004
Oiled Ash/Frêne huilé/Geölte Asche/Geolied Essen Ash is a very hard, light colored, smooth-grained wood with beige to brown hue. Oiled ash has very attractive vivid look. Ash boards are made from several pieces of wood glued together (exceptions are possible). These boards comply with EU regulation EN1935:2004.
Oiled Oak/Chêne huilé/Geölte Eiche/Geolied Eiken Oak wood is strong, hard, heavy and dense with very close grain and uneven structure. Oiled Oak boards are dark brown in color and look and feel premium. Oak boards are made both from several pieces of wood glued together (exceptions are possible). These boards comply with EU regulation EN1935:2004.
