An open plan kitchen and meals area is built of Tasmanian Blackwood reflecting the owner’s appreciation of fine timbers. The timber theme of the kitchen is repeated throughout the house and none more spectacular than the Ash wood spiral staircase which was crafted on site to create the feature exactly as the home owner intended. Ceilings have been finished in Western Red Cedar and a number of walls feature exposed brick. The home is comfortable all year, regulated by refrigerated cooling and heating. Outside, space abounds on the 6381 square metre block with a 65 metre frontage and more than 2000 square metres available at the rear for further development such as a tennis court or more shedding.
