Cosmic Possibilities: An Intergalactic Youth Guide to Abolition is a creative and reflective dreamspace made by and for young people to imagine liberatory new worlds. What does it look like when our abolitionist visions for the world are realized? What did it take to get us there? This publication was created over a series of several weeks after the summer 2020 Abolitionist Youth Organizing Institute (AYO, NYC!). Fifty young people ages 16-24 spent 7 days learning about prison industrial complex abolition, organizing, and restorative justice. After the Institute ended, a smaller group of participants--Baylor Andrews, Erin, Raelyn Williams, Sakinaa, Nora Thompson, Jadyn Fauconier-Herry, Sadé, Miguel Ramirez, Naira Luke-Aleman, and bodhi alarcón--worked with Alison Reba, Bianca Dominguez, Hannah Arroyo, and designer mickey ferrara to co-create this workbook.
