Project Zero Online APPLICATION PROCESS GUIDE

GETTING STARTED: Please review all the information on the course webpage, including the course details, course outline, textbook, and fees and policies, before starting your application. STEP 1: Identify a team coordinator who will fill out the application on behalf of the team(s). • The team coordinator should click “Apply” on the course page, create an account in the Self Service Center Portal (SSC), and log in to access the team application form. • A team coordinator may apply for up to 5 teams in each application. • The team coordinator does NOT have to be a participant. • The team coordinator will be asked to provide the following information for each participant:      

First Name Last Name Email Grade Level Subject Area Job title

For accepted teams, follow these next steps: STEP 3: Each participant must create an account in our Self Service Center Portal (SSC) and complete an enrollment form to confirm their intention to enroll. Participants will receive the SSC link by email. STEP 4: Invoice and payment instructions are available in the SSC for: a) the team coordinator if a group invoice is requested; b) each participant if individual invoices are requested. Note: We accept payment by credit card, check, purchase order, and bank wire transfer. Full tuition payments must be submitted before the course start date. STEP 5: During the week prior to the course start date, each participant will receive an invitation email from Canvas, our course platform, to set up their account in Canvas.

• Once the application is submitted, all changes must be emailed to hgse_online@gse.harvard.edu. STEP 2: After submitting the application, the team coordinator and each participant will receive a decision by email within 5 to 7 business days. Please whitelist hgse_online@gse.harvard.edu to prevent the email landing in your spam or junk folders. Note: Applications must be submitted prior to the application deadline for consideration. Submitting your application doesn’t guarantee acceptance to the course.
