Thanks to Marianist Brother John Samaha for this faithful cheer - “The best vitamin for a Christian is B-1.” Though nursing some ailments, the St. James Parish native said he’s “doing well at a slower pace.” Brother John now lives at his congregation’s Villa St. Joseph, 22840 Mercedes Rd., Cupertino 95014…. Fond farewells marked a celebration for retiring leadership at St. Brendan School June 11th. The event honored Dominican Sister Diane Erbacher, who is leaving after 40 years as principal and Dominican Sister Christine Ostrowski, who has taught at St. Bren’s for 36 years. “Hundreds of parishioners, school families, alumni, alumni parents, and former faculty came to Mass and a Parish Center reception to honor them for their many decades of love and devotion to the school and its students,” said Suzanne McCarthy, school development director. “They will certainly be missed.”…The golf team of Junipero Serra High School took the West Catholic Athletic League crown for 2004-05.
