Chinese Music Through the Ages: A concert presentation by musicians from the Deng Yi Music Company (Singapore) and the China Orient Orchestra (Beijing) This concert is presented by Lingkiong Quek and Prof. Hing-yan Chan, explaining the different styles of solo and ensemble music in the Chinese tradition. Members of the ensembles play music from different regions of China, from ancient folk music to contemporary compositions.
