main sponsors of the event, and one of the highlights of the show was when graduate Hayley Kay Huckvale was chosen as winner of a fashion pictorial to appear in our magazine very soon, so watch this space! We managed to grab the girls’ attention to have a quick chat about how they all found the experience, all of whom want to pursue professional modelling in the future:

Yomna Zeyada: “We learned how to be more confident; and learning how to walk in heels was hard at first but we were all able to do it in the end.”

Could you please tell us what you enjoyed most during the course? Maya Shaban: “I liked the way Stephen showed us how to take care of our hair and how to do different styles.”

Do you feel that the course has given you more confidence? Daleen Al Haiki: “Yes. I was taught to be proud of who I am and hold my head high.”

What was your favourite part of the course?

How did the training influence you as an individual? Hayley Kay Huckvale: “It was knowing that other people can do it gave me confidence that I am capable of doing it too.”

What is the most important thing that you learned on the course? Nadine Al Hawaj: “Respecting others but most importantly to respect myself.”

What was your favourite topic of the course and why? Tara McCarthy: “When we were taught how to walk properly in heels. Watching everyone else try do it for the first time as well was so much fun and we all learnt how to carry on and do it eventually.” What was the main lesson that you learned during the course? Hannah Bricklebank: “Having self-confidence helps you in future challenges in life.”
