INTRODUCING COMEDY PrIZE

Standup comedy is perhaps the most raw and unfiltered artform in the universe and we’re amped to welcome Comedy Prize to the Prize Fest family. Five comedians from across the country will perform 7-10 minute standup routines before a live audience and one will walk away with a $1,000 cash grand prize!

Inaugural Comedy Prize

Saturday, October 2, Doors at 7:00 p.m.

Show begins at 8:00 p.m. Join us for the latest addition to the Prize competition family: Comedy Prize! Five standup comedians each perform 10 minute sets for a grand prize of $1000 cash!

Kenjamin Alonzo

Kenjamin started doing standup in June of 2018 and has thoroughly enjoyed it since. In September of 2019 Alonzo was a semi-finalist in NBC’s national standup competition. Currently, Kenjamin is the co-host of an open mic night at The Secret Group in Houston.

Storhm Artiste

Storhm has performed stand up comedy for seven years and has performed with celebrity comedians such as Marlan Wayans, Chris Tucker, and Viva A. Fox. Storhm is a resident comedian and host at many comedy clubs and has been seen headlining for the Late Night Comedy Show on Roku.

Brendan Gay

Born and raised in the Midwest and living in Austin, Brendan is a national touring comedian. He was a finalist on TruTV’s Comedy Breakout initiative at The New York Television Festival, Finalist in the Make Me Laugh USA Competition, and Semi finalist in NBC’s Stand Up Diversity Showcase.

Trey Mack

Trey is a stand-up comedian from Birmingham, AL. Since his start in 2012, he has recorded his own comedy special “Have Fun” available on Amazon Prime, and starred on Kevin Hart’s “Hart of the City” on Comedy Central.

Jamie Rowan

Jamie is a Chicago-born, Houston-bred comic and writer. She began her comedy career in long form improv, but her real love was stand up. Her style is self-deprecating and raw. She is half sarcasm, half Jewish and 100% mother issues. She has performed at clubs throughout the country and is regularly featured on showcases in Houston.
