May Memorial Library Storywalk
holiday kick-off event MAY MEMORIAL LIBRARY holds a "Storywalk"
GETTING CREATIVE THIS HOLIDAY SEASON May Memorial Library is organizing a storywalk in Downtown Burlington! The book selected is Waiting for Snow by Marsha Diane Arnold.

WHAT IS A STORYWALK?
The library will provide story panels from the book that local businesses will display in their windows or in front of their buildings.
There are 16 panels for the whole story, so participants will begin at the first panel and follow a map to read each panel in the story.
HOW BIG ARE THE PANELS?
The panels are 17 x 23”. Local downtown businesses will display the panel in its window, or on a stand that the library provides (48” tall). HOW DO I SIGN MY BUSINESS UP TO RECEIVE A PANEL FOR THIS STORYWALK?
Follow the link below and select "sign up” in any of the slots, let us know in the “comments” box if you’d like a stand to display your panel, or if you’ll display your panel on/in your window. Add your name and email address and you’re done. If more folks sign up than we have panels for, we’ll come up with a creative way to include everyone in the storywalk.

The panels will be delivered to businesses prior to Thanksgiving and the Storywalk will run all the way through when the Reindeer Roundup begins on December 4th.
This fun event for families over the Thanksgiving holiday is also designed to increase traffic to downtown businesses.
