he author talks about “Becoming Wise: An Inquiry into the Mystery and Art of Living,” in which she distills the insights she has gleaned from a career discussing faith, science and spirituality. Tippett is the Peabody Award-winning host of NPR’s “On Being.” In 2014, she received the National Humanities Medal at the White House for “thoughtfully delving into the mysteries of human existence.” Joining Tippett in conversation will be Gideon Rosen, Stuart Professor of Philosophy and past Chair of the Council of the Humanities at Princeton University. Nassau Presbyterian Church, 61 Nassau St. General admission is $20 and includes a paperback copy of the book; a limited number of $12 tickets will be available for students and seniors. Tickets go on sale Jan. 9 at 9 a.m. through princetonlibrary.org. Co-sponsored by the library and Labyrinth Books.
