Our School

Great Missenden Church of England School is a primary school located in the Chiltern hills, originally founded in 1823.

We have approximately children, ranging in age from rising 5's to 11, with a Pre-school for 3-4 year olds. In 2014 we proudly became an academy school within the Great Learners Trust.

We are a church school and aim to nurture the spiritual, cultural, moral and social development of the children and to foster mutual respect and responsibility.

We offer exceptional facilities including an extensive sports field, two large playgrounds, forest school, school garden with polytunnels, a trim trail, a large dining hall offering hot school lunches and cooking facilities for children's lessons, a music room and a library complete with hundreds of books. We also have an ICT suite and pupils also have access to ipads laptops.

We are extremely proud of our professional, hard-working team of teachers and support staff. In addition to year group teachers we are fortunate to have dedicated teachers for Languages, Music and PE.
