They have studied Classical Music (piano and vocal), Arts & Crafts (ceramics, drawing, oil painting and sculpture), Graphic Design, and they have a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts & Design. They did their Bachelor thesis on Queer Esthetics, and most of their work revolves around gender variance and gender nonconformity, queerness, and queer life and love. Sivje enjoys working with a broad variety of techniques and materials, digital imaging, video and photography. In everyday life, they’re giving old and damaged materials new purpose, focusing on sustainability and anti capitalistic life in harmony with nature. «To me, art is an expression of love, that’s why all of my work is queer.»
