Updates
Social Media Policy and Procedure
As mentioned in the last volume, we are working on updating the old social media policy so that it is okay to manage a Facebook page. Part of that will include a separate procedure that I am currently writing, which will go into more specifics for those who manage their pages. I will post the procedure when it is finished and answer any questions about it.
Resource Guide Campaign
This week, the marketing team is kicking off the Resource Guide campaign. For those who don't know, we will be running ads directing people toward our website to enter their email to download a free guide to healthy senior living. We are handling all the ads, so you can continue to just focus on your community and holiday events. We just wanted to keep you in the loop if you see these going around!
Newest Communities on Facebook Please welcome Prestige Assisted Living at Kalispell and Prestige Senior Living at Karcher Estates to the Facebook world! Their pages are linked so go give them a like/follow!

Tips and Tricks Best Times to Post
We have a digital marketing consultant who writes incredibly detailed reports regarding our online usage. After taking a quick peek at some of his reports, I've noticed the most engagement is usually between 1 pm - 4 pm. Also, there seems to be more engagement happening on Thursdays and Fridays. This of course doesn't mean you only have to post during those times, but just a reminder if you want to rack up some likes and follows!
Using Videos
Many studies show that videos and moving photos tend to perform better on social media. Your residents watching a performance or making some crafts could make for a great short video.
Sierra Vista makes great, simple slideshows.
