The original Cable Beach Caravan Park has it all. Boasting a resort style pool, large shady sites and an on-site café, this park has something for everyone. Having offered a warm and welcoming reception for the past three decades, this is a caravan park with a true sense of community.
Famous for its iconic camel rides, the famous beach is 22km of pristine sand and tropical waters. The sunset over the Indian Ocean can be breathtaking and there’s also plenty for you to do in Broome other than dip your toes in the sea.
A holiday in Broome is a unique experience. The town’s history as the pearling capital of the world has left behind a unique culture – Australian but heavily influenced by Asia. Add this to the pristine waters, wide empty beaches, abundant wildlife and tropical climate and you can see why Broome is so popular.
“We have people come back to the caravan park year, after year, after year” says Cable Beach Caravan Park owner, Ron Beacham.
“They come to see friends and enjoy the wonderful climate and relaxed atmosphere.”
Set on 20 acres of picturesque grounds, there is space for all to relax and enjoy. Whether you are in a big rig, tent, or anything in between, there is a spot to suit all needs.
“Being within walking distance to restaurants and just a few minutes’ walk to the beautiful white sands of Cable Beach, the location is enviable,” says Cable Beach Caravan Park owner, Margaret Beacham.
Cable Beach Caravan Park offers both powered and un-powered sites, convenience shop, playground, barbecues, tour bookings, wifi, clean, modern amenities, coin-laundries, book swap and fish cleaning facilities.
Adjoining the caravan park is much loved Millie Café; a relaxed space serving delicious breakfasts, lunches and mouth-watering coffee and cakes. Open six days from 7am.
A caravanner’s delight, it is truly a fantastic park for your next holiday – the perfect base to explore the ochre cliffs and turquoise waters of the Kimberley.
