Avisit to Broome is not complete without a visit to the incredible Broome Markets. Browse numerous stalls showcasing hand-made products, jewellery, clothing and art. Tempt your palate with a delicious selection of local and international cuisine and tasty beverages.

The Broome Markets operates several markets all year round, with a Thursday night market at Broome’s Town Beach reserve from June until early October.

The vibrant weekend Courthouse Markets are held in the beautiful heritage listed botanical gardens of the Broome Courthouse on Saturdays (and Sundays in the dry season). The Courthouse Markets were started 30 years ago by community members wishing to trade local products. Today, the Courthouse Markets have grown into a major tourist attraction and feature up to

100 stalls during the dry season. On a Saturday morning during in the dry season enjoy local and visiting musicians performing on the steps of the historic Courthouse.

The Staircase to the Moon Markets and weekly Thursday Night Markets are regular events during the dry season and the perfect way to enjoy friendly Broome hospitality under the stars. Wander around and be part of the wonderful atmosphere, enjoy the colourful local stalls, sample the delights of Broome cuisine, listen to live music and take in the spectacular Roebuck Bay at night.

The very popular Staircase Markets are held monthly at Town Beach Reserve on one night of the spectacular Staircase to the Moon event, from April to October, as the moon rises over the magnificent Roebuck Bay. Dates and times for the Staircase Markets vary every month.

• Saturday and Sunday (dry season) markets are located at the Broome Courthouse, 8 Hamersley Street from 8am to 1pm (dry season) and from 8am to 12pm (wet season).

• The Thursday Night Markets are held at Broome Town Beach precinct from 4pm to 8pm every Thursday from June until early October.
