The final night is at an exclusive campsite on a working cattle station in Fitzroy Crossing before you get to explore Tunnel Creek on the way back to Cable Beach and Broome.
Adventure Wild utilise established campgrounds with the best facilities available. With permanent campsites setup 10/11 nights of your journey, your tents are ready and awaiting your arrival. A reasonable level of fitness is required to hike into the spectacular gorges and other interesting places visited. Many of the walks include dry river beds and gorges where large rocks move underfoot, so stability is essential. Some walks include stepping up and climbing down into and out of river beds. As long as you’re healthy, active and are able to walk a few kilometres at a time, an Adventure Wild tour should be suited to you.
The Kimberley Adventurer tour is great value and operates between May and September each year. With three departures per fortnight, you are sure to find a date to suit. Allocating three weeks is recommended to maximise your time in Broome and the Dampier Peninsula before and after your 12-day tour.
