Matthew Sheeter | Farmer’s Table in Livingston Matthew Sheeter learned to appreciate farm to table food growing up in a small town in Ohio helping his dad butcher in the winter and working in the family garden every summer. He started his culinary career by receiving a degree in hotel restaurant management at Michael J Owens in Toledo, Ohio before moving to Charleston, South Carolina graduating from Johnson and Wales Culinary School. He worked for Kroger companies in Atlanta and managed a cooking school in Alpharetta, GA for 3 years, and then served as a corporate trainer for Meals to Go for another 3 years. Matthew had the opportunity to open the Viking cooking school in Buckhead GA where he spent 4 years teaching classes and wlming television spots for a local program. He was transferred too Saint Louis as the General Manager of The Viking Store where he spent 3 and half years before transferring to the Ridgeland Viking cooking school. He later served as the executive chef of Belhaven University where he cooked for the presidential dining room and catered before landing in Madison County as the chef of Farmer’s Table in Livingston. Anthony Rametta | White House Hotel The Executive Chef of Cora’s Restaurant and Bar at the White House Hotel in Biloxi, Anthony Rametta offers a peek inside his life with the many layers and yavors of his dishes which express his heritage and who he is as a person. Rametta says his food is a way for people to get to know him without meeting him. A military brat of Sicilian and Okinawan descent, Rametta moved to the United States, where he has relocated extensively, each place having impacted both his personality and his food. Living on the Gulf Coast, Rametta wnds himself with a host of fresh seafood and regional, seasonal produce. A very popular dish at Cora’s is the Shrimp and Grits which Rametta prepares with all fresh ingredients and local gulf shrimp.
