[1]

VILLA LUKIC

±0.00

The project is designed for four members of Lukic family: husband psychiatrist, wife professor of literature and two children who attended school.

+1.36

The guiding idea of this project was “lasting space”. Basic form of the object consists of two cubes, which are placed one over the other. Their deformations have formed one continuous space on each floor. Visual continuity in relation object - nature, is disappearing with dominant use of glass on the facade. Workspaces are specifically highlighted and oriented towards the woods.

HOTEL IN RAJICEVA STREET Hotel is located in the area of Belgrade fortress. The form is designed as a roller, which consists of the core and modules, which are staked on the core. The module is a circular section, from the façade to the core, and equal to one accommodation unit. Primarily this form was chosen because it allows continuous communication. The hotel has sixteen floors. On the ground are “locally” distributed modules saturate with ramps, public space, forming a wide variety of content. The accommodation unit is designed as a continuous space. Only service facilities are isolated. [2]

MODULE M4 - SQUARE SYSTEM ON THE WATER September 2009 to February 2010

[1]

MIST

Coming from the direction of Morinje, Risan and Perast the square on the water is seen as the mist. The square is obscured by the barriers that formed the segmented ring around it – the labyrinth of facilities. In a cloud of active fun on the water there is a square partly submerged in water. Part of the square which is under the water is hidden from tourists-consumers and represents facilities’ “counterweight” to the popular water parks fun.

The “Museum of myths and legends” is the revitalization project for the building on the Belgrade Fortress, which is currently used as exhibition space for natural history museum. The idea is that this museum contains exhibition of Slavic mythology and urban legends. The reason for this is that there are not a lot of material remains of residence from time when Slavs populated fortress, yet, that period lasted for two centuries. Many urban legends would attract the attention of potential visitors (eg, according to popular legend, the first Serbian Masonic Lodge once stood in this place). Aim is to revitalize object in the way it preserves the cultural heritage of Belgrade. The museum is spread over two floors. The first is below ground level and includes the exhibition of urban legends [4], while on the second floor is the exhibition of Slavic mythology [1]. The fifth facade (roof) facility was developed as a public space with various amenities, so as not to jeopardize the appearance of the fortress [3]. The second part of the thesis refers to the “Lost City Square” and the focal point of the fortress. Thus, with the revitalization of the remains of the old Austrian barracks, the square is formed. In revitalized facilities place has been found for Belgrade Fortress administration and its presentation of projects and future plans. In second barrack is commercial zone (cafe-bar, reading room, multi-purpose halls, etc.) which have the function of keeping people in the square and provide content that is currently lacking in this area. Through this project were revitalised two barracks, but are also indicated other potential sites of intervention.
